What happens when Swedish songwriting meets Brazilian Music and it´s peformers? Does Erici, Swedish songwriter and producer, have anything to contribute to the Brazilian sound?

Erici fell in love with the Brazilian sound since the day he swithed on the Bossa-section at his new electric organ in the mid eighties. Twenty years later, he created the Brasileiro project to explore the country who gave birth to Samba and Bossa Nova. Erici spent three months in Brazil in 2004-2005 to discover traditional styles and the modern sounds of today. The result of his work was presented at Luleå University 2005 as a written essay:

But the Brasileiro project also included the creation of new music in various collaborations with musicians from Brazil, Europe and Australia. The music are now completed and will be released on the Brasilicum CD this year. Find out more at www.brasilicum.net
